Invited to the "UëTëFë Show" on Andale Media, Hygerta Sako spoke about her experience on "Big Brother VIP Kosovo", from which she emerged as the fifth finalist.
For the first time, she also addressed the accusations that were made massively online after she was announced as a finalist, with commentators writing that the production or Olsa Muhameti had promised her the final and manipulated the votes to make her the winner in the confrontation with Benita.
"Why should the production favor me?! I had never met Olsa Muhameti before, and I say this publicly and publicly. I met her for the first time when she contacted me about Big Brother, about participating.
"I met him twice in total, the rest I contacted him on the phone. I can say [that there was] absolute correctness and then the whole time he came [to the Big Brother house] and I only discussed it twice in two moments that I had difficulty wanting to leave. [We communicated] from the Confession Room to discuss why this kind of decision was made and to think about it again," Hygerta explained.
She further implied that this type of contact she had with Olsa in the Confession Room is perfectly normal when a resident is going through a difficult time and has nothing to do with any kind of favoritism. On the contrary, Hygerta expressed that due to the intensity of the events, sometimes her name was not even called to go to the Confession Room for two days in a row:
"No character or resident who shares the journey or ends it of their own accord is good. It's not good for them either because they might regret it when they leave, it's not good for the production either. So, it's definitely known that they give you 24 hours to think, to sober up, to rethink things once again. I've discussed this issue twice and no contact. I even often asked for the Confession Room, but it's too much work... I've been left with 24 hours or 48 hours without being called to the Confession Room."
Hygerta responded to the theories that the residents had phones and were informed about what happened outside during their stay at home by categorically denying them:
"If I had a phone, I would have flown there and I didn't need to feel bad, nor to decide to leave because I couldn't stand it, because having a phone means you find out how the girl is, how the mom is, how things are, is it going well, is it going badly, what needs to be fixed. So, I believe you've seen that I've been constant the whole time in my character, it's not like I've made any drastic changes.
