"Letter tattoos are so popular because they are aesthetic," tattoo artist Jaz Paulino told Bustle. "It's a fun way to forever mark a positive memory, or a favorite quote, or to commemorate someone special."

"They are eternal," adds artist Deanna Maffeo. "If done well, it can look good forever."

A type of font can be thin, bold, classic, graphic, etc. Here's what fonts they suggested:
