Not all VIPs have the honor or desire to touch the Met Gala red carpet. Some have been removed from the guest list by Anna Wintour herself - the queen of the Met, while others have left of their own free will, due to sensational statements they have made against the event.

Here are 7 of these people:

1. Donald Trump

The US President is banned from the Met Gala. Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue and the event's organizer, confirmed the ban in an interview with James Corden, saying she would never invite Trump to the event.

2. Amy Schumer

Comedian Amy Schumer has slammed the Met Gala, calling it a "farce" and saying it's like a parade of people pretending to talk. She has declared that she has no interest in fashion and will not attend it again. 

3. Zayn Malik

Singer Zayn Malik has openly stated that he has no interest in attending the Met Gala. He said that he would rather be at home doing something productive than dressing up in expensive clothes and posing for pictures on the red carpet.

4. Tina Fey

Comedian and actress Tina Fey attended the Met Gala once and has said she will not go again. She described the event as a "parade of fools" and expressed dissatisfaction with the busy and unsafe atmosphere.

Singer Demi Lovato had a negative experience at the Met Gala, describing it as "terrible." She said she felt embarrassed and wanted to drink alcohol to get through the moment.
