After the protest that was held today in front of the building of the Ministry of Education, the ministry Lindita Nikolla has been trying to clarify the situation. Through a press conference, Nikola has asked the students' representatives to meet and hear their problems.
"I wait at every hour of the day for students to talk about issues they are interested in," the ministry said.
But the students have refused to sit down at the discussion table with the minister, they have even said that the protests will continue.
At the press conference Lindita Nikolla also said that the DCM for which students complain has not yet entered into force and does not affect them at all.
"This point has not yet entered into force for these students, it relates to those who enter this year in the first year and the next year may have effects. Today the rectors and deans will address and I am definitely open to move on to a proposal that this point be left to universities, not to the government. This point has not entered into force and has no impact on any student. Will be introduced next year. If the universities agree, I am ready to leave it under the umbrella of university autonomy, " said Nicholas.
But the 670 ALL fee for the exam is not the only concern of the students, they also require a reduction of the annual study fee, the extension of the deadline or the possibility of settling it by installments.
Meanwhile, for tomorrow, students are planning to protest again and have invited all their college colleges to boycott the lesson. They will gather tomorrow at 08:00 in the courtyards of the respective faculties and will go to the Ministry.
