After months of trying to see Hailey Baldwin's ring in turbulent paparazzi, we finally have a clear image. The ring with which Justin and Haily announce the engagement is even more fascinating than we thought.

The model was chosen for the September cover of Vogue Mexico and the diamond ring is the centerpiece of the picture. In a black and white photo, Baldwin has bowed his head to his side and left his hand slipping down to reveal the oval diamond and the 18-carat gold ring.

Although this is the first time we see the ring in the light, we know something more about it.

"Justin had some specific details he wanted on the ring, there was expectation, and I think we did," says Jack Solow, the ring designer. "Everything revolved around the ring. He knew what Baldwin was doing, but he still wanted a special diamond. But let me pick up the most beautiful diamond for someone like Hailey. " Justin necessarily wanted a 18-carat gold ring that was alluded to have been very important to Hailey.

The design process required a series of phone calls and photo swapping. After a few weeks, the ring was ready for Bieber's proposal. "Like any boy at his age, said 'Wau, it's fantastic,'" Solow said. "At one point I was looking at the diamond and asked, 'What's inside the diamond?' She turns to me, 'I seem to see Hailey's face.' "
