Extreme Christians who left their daughter without eating until they died

Seth Welch and Tatiana Fusari, two 27, were charged with killing after leaving their daughter without eating and drinking water until she died. They refused to seek medical help for "religious reasons" and they did not trust the authorities.

Both are accused of abuse of first-degree children. When the court read the charges, Welch opened his mouth in amazement and shock.

It was also said that when the emergency services arrived at the scene, they found the 10-month-old girl with eyes like holes, nooks and no pulse. The little man was declared helpless at home and autopsy revealed that he died as a result of dehydration and malnutrition by his parents.

The couple admitted that the daughter was weak and underweight for a month. Still, they did not seek medical help for religious reasons and feared the authorities would not take the children.

Both are in pre-trial detention without the right of parole and the name of any lawyer who can speak on their behalf has not been disclosed.

Welch and Fusari have two children together, two and four years old. Earlier, Welch wrote on Facebook about the doctors' and mistrust they showed to them and how they did not vaccinate their children because "God is sovereign over sickness." He also called doctors "priests of medical worship."

Welch posted on Facebook on the day of her daughter's death.

"I'm heartbroken. This morning, we found Mary dead in bed - tonight our other children were taken away because I and Tati are the worst parents in the world. Fortunately, they have left them with their grandparents.

I'm numb for the moment. I'm so fond of the loving embrace of the isolation cell and the police and government employees who continue to say they are here 'to help me.' "

As far as vaccination is concerned, Welch thought that "there is no sense in saving people who are not healthy. If evolution relies on the survival of the fittest, why do you want to save the weak, why are all vaccinated? Do not we have to let the weak to die and to survive? "The other two children, including Mary, were not vaccinated.

The couple faces a life sentence without a conditional bail if convicted of murder. They will return to court on 20 August.
