Pamela Lara, an 18-year-old from Houston, Texas posted on Twitter a letter from her younger brother, as the latter had learned that they were not "completely" sister and brother. She was half his sister.

In addition to the letter, her 17-year-old brother, Jared Escamilla, had left her sister and favorite meals.

"I just wanted to let you know how much I love you. I do not care what others say, you will always be my full sister, you are the best thing that has happened to me in life. I want you wholeheartedly, thank you for helping me in my bad and directing me to the right way. I will always be there for you, as you were for me.
